A Box Full Of Sparks are a highly sought after rock-pop-soul trio playing well paid gigs throughout the NW of the UK at RAF (MOD) balls, university and school promenade balls, weddings, reunions, posh hotels, clubs and sometimes pubs. We have built up an enviable reputation playing covers to an exceptionally high standard which is why we are so busy.
After 6 years, our singer is leaving due to domestic pressures and we have gigs in the diary so we have to replace him quickly.

You can read more about us and hear some demos at www.aboxfullofsparks.co.uk

If you're interested, please understand what is required of you. You'll need to sing at least 24 songs per gig, from the Beatles to the Kings of Leon so your voice needs to be versatile.
We would prefer a mature male as most of our songs were originally recorded by men and we don't have time to hold your hand.
You will need to learn a repertoire of at least 30 songs, quickly. We play to very high quality backing tracks written, arranged and recorded by us, so you need to be able to play in time and with the track.
We have a full top quality 4k PA, monitors, lights, mixer etc.

You will need to commit yourself to being available most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. You will need your own transport (although we have van and for some gigs can pick you up) your own quality instruments and be prepared to work hard but have fun. This is about the money, so we're not interested in Karaoke Kings or X Factor wannabes (if you come to an audition and say that 'you're on a journey and want to be famous, I'll not-so-politely show you the door!) We have big expansion plans so if you're half decent, you must be prepared to work even harder and play a role in getting us where we want to be.

If you're up for it and think you're good enough call me
